Using SwapFont

SwapFont is a free Chrome extension for previewing and replacing fonts on web pages. By installing or using it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, remove the extension.

Lawful use and rights

Use SwapFont lawfully and respect the terms of the sites you visit. A preview does not give you rights to a website's content or to a font. Each font has its own license. Check it before using a font in your own work.

Temporary effects

Swaps are previews in your browser. They do not change the published website. Pairs clear on reload or navigation unless you choose Remember for this site, available from version 0.5.0. Replacing a font can shift layout, wrap text differently or hide content. A preview may differ from a completed redesign. Some pages and content types are unsupported.

No affiliation

SwapFont is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google, Google Fonts or the websites you use it on. Names and trademarks belong to their owners.

Provided as is

SwapFont is provided as is and as available, without warranties, to the extent permitted by law. To that same extent, the developer is not liable for loss or damage arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be waived.

Updates, availability and contact

SwapFont may be updated, changed or discontinued, and these terms may be revised. Changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. Questions: swapfont@omshejul.com.
