Stitch Reader

Terms of use

Effective July 17, 2026

These terms govern use of Stitch Reader. The developer identified on the app’s App Store listing operates the app. By using Stitch Reader, you agree to these terms and the privacy policy.

Your patterns and permissions

You keep ownership of content you import. You must own it or have permission to copy and process it. You give Stitch Reader only the limited permission needed to transmit, process, return, and temporarily retain the file as described in the privacy policy.

Do not use Stitch Reader to infringe copyright, distribute pattern data without permission, bypass access controls, upload unlawful material, probe the service, evade limits, or interfere with other users.

Review remains required

Converted charts are proposals and may be incomplete or wrong. Review the grid, legend, source evidence, and page joins before confirmation. The original pattern remains the source of truth. Do not rely on Stitch Reader where an error could cause personal injury, financial loss, or another high-risk consequence.

Availability and supported inputs

The first release supports clearly readable full-cross PDF, JPEG, and PNG charts, including validated multipage charts, up to 100 × 100 cells. Other stitch types and unsafe or unreadable inputs may be rejected. Processing may be paused, limited, changed, or discontinued to protect users, control abuse, or maintain the service. Confirmed local charts remain available subject to your device and backups.

Yearly plan

The included practice chart and one successfully processed pattern are free. Failed, unsupported, or cancelled attempts do not use the free conversion. Processing additional patterns requires the yearly plan shown in the app. The localized price is charged by Apple or Google and the plan renews automatically each year unless cancelled through store settings before renewal. Restore purchase is available in the app.

Cancellation keeps access through the paid period. Billing grace periods may temporarily preserve processing access. Expiry, refund, or revocation stops additional processing after the free conversion is used, but never hides saved local patterns or blocks backup, export, deletion, privacy, or support. Store refund and cancellation rules also apply.

App and service rights

Stitch Reader, its interface, and its software remain the developer’s property. You receive a personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the app under these terms and Apple’s standard license agreement where applicable. These terms do not grant rights to third-party pattern designs.

Disclaimers and responsibility

Stitch Reader is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. The developer does not promise that every file will process, every result will be correct, or the service will always be available. You are responsible for reviewing results, respecting content rights, and keeping backups you need. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Enforcement and changes

Access may be limited or ended for abuse, security risk, unlawful use, or material violation of these terms. Material changes will be posted here and, when required, presented before continued processing.
