Odomark

Privacy

Odomark keeps your car history on your phone unless you choose to move or share it.

Updated July 16, 2026

Your car history stays on your phone

Cars, mileage, service history, reminders, notes, costs, and receipt files are saved on your device. Odomark does not require an account or send this history to an Odomark cloud account.

You choose when a copy leaves

When you create, share, or restore a backup, you choose the file and where it goes. A backup can contain every car, history entry, reminder, and receipt, so keep it somewhere you trust. Odomark does not upload backups to its own server.

Reminders use your phone

If you add a reminder with a date, Odomark can ask for permission to schedule a notification on your phone. The reminder title may appear in a notification or on your lock screen, depending on your phone settings. Odomark does not use a push-notification server.

Recall checks use public U.S. data

When you check recalls, Odomark sends the car's year, make, and model to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. It does not send your VIN, plate, service history, receipts, mileage, notes, or costs. Use NHTSA's VIN lookup or ask a dealer for an answer about one exact car.

Odomark Pro purchases

Odomark Pro is an optional yearly subscription. Apple and RevenueCat handle the product, transaction, purchase status, renewal, expiry, refund status, and a private customer identifier. Odomark uses this information only to show the store price and decide whether Pro is active. Odomark does not receive your card number or Apple account password.

RevenueCat does not receive your car history, VIN, plate, mileage, receipts, notes, costs, searches, or backup files.

Anonymous crash reports, but no ads

The released app uses PostHog US Cloud to report errors and crashes. A report can include the app version, phone model, operating-system version, a random technical identifier, code details about where the error happened, and ordinary connection information such as an IP address. Odomark turns off screen recordings, usage tracking, location lookup, user profiles, and advertising. Reports are filtered before sending to avoid car history, VINs, plates, receipts, notes, costs, mileage, searches, and saved files.

How long information stays

Your car records stay on your phone until you delete them or remove the app. Apple and RevenueCat keep purchase information as needed to operate the subscription and meet their legal duties. Crash reports are kept only while they are useful for finding, fixing, and checking a problem, then deleted.

Email odomark@omshejul.com to ask about a crash report or request deletion. Because Odomark has no account and reports use a random technical identifier, it may not always be possible to connect one report to one person.

Delete your information

Use Delete local data inside Backup and restore to remove cars, history, reminders, and receipt files from the phone. Removing the app also removes its local information. Backups you saved elsewhere must be deleted separately.

This hosted page

This policy page is hosted on omshejul.com. The website uses PostHog for page measurements and basic website interactions. It may use browser storage to recognize a repeat visit. This is separate from the Odomark app and does not include your car history. Do not enter car details into the website.
